This is a replacement for the stock throttle grip that needed changing. I was going to initially just change the grip itself but for the price of this assy I decided why not just get the whole part direct. And, with it being a genuine Suzuki part, I know it's quality will be perfect. So, finding the part was not hard as I already checked Suzuki schematics for this bike. Their price was superb and added to the basket along with a few other parts. I generally have more than one item per order as it really does cut down on the shipping costs spread through the items. I chose EMS and my order was delivered in 5 days from being shipped from Webike warehouse. The box was all sealed and the amount of padding inside to keep my parts safe was excellent. The grip itself came in the standard Suzuki bag with. The grip part is nice and well, grippy, not totally smoothed out like some grips you can buy. Matches perfectly with the clutch side grip I also purchased. You can really feel the friction when using it. The rubber is nice and soft but it seems like it has been bonded to the throttle tube so it is not coming off in a hurry. What else can I say, Yamaha OEM part and the quality is fantastic. This is the left side grip which was a necessary part for a bike. I have started rebuilding this GS1000 1995 which requires a lot of genuine Suzuki parts. I could buy random after market parts but sometimes, you just have to get the genuine ones. I decided on this OEM one as it is with fitting the era of the age of bike I am doing. The part number was not hard to find and also cross referencing with Suzuki schematics was even easier. Added to my order with a few other parts as well as the right hand side grip. Using EMS all my order was shipped and delivered in 5 days solid. The package was well padded and no damage to any of the parts I ordered. This left hand grip is beautiful. I know it's just a grip but the look on it's own is great and of course the quality is effect as always from Kawasaki. The OEM was definitely the best choice for this bike. The rubberised grip is super sticky and tactile to touch. Fits easily on the 22mm handlebars for the rebuild. There is a ton of flexibility but even with that, it fits spot on.
