YAMAHA Tenere700 Custom
Japanese Custom Culture
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "YAMAHA Tenere700" custom by Webike community user "masa". The Tenere700 is an adventure model from Yamaha. The owner has already owned a CRF250 RALLY, but decided to purchase it because its greater acceleration. He is enjoying the Tenere700 almost in stock, but one of its custom point is that it is lowered model. The higher ride height means a higher center of gravity, which increases the risk of tipping over at the same time. No rider wants to live a motorcycle life with anxiety. He solved the ride height problem by using Y's Gear Lowering Links for the suspension. Another idea lowering the ride height is to replace the seat with a lower one, but the owner did not want to remove the Tenere700 stock seat because he felt it was really comfortable. In addition to the suspension, other customizations such as grip warmers and a GIVI rear case were made to achieve a comfortable ride.
