This bike had a lot of issues that needed sorting out. Mostly it was cosmetic but some of the panels had taken damage through constantly being removed from the bike. No biggy as these parts are available still from Yamaha. I found the right panel part number by checking Yamaha schematics and then cross referencing on Webike website to see if they could get them quickly. To my surprise, Webike could get this shipped out within a few days. The price I saw on Webike was really great value for money and so much cheaper than if I sourced locally from the Yamaha dealer. This panel although is not particularly heavy, it is a weird shape and needs a large box to accommodate. I already anticipated this and it reflected on the cost of shipping. Weighing up the cost of the part plus the shipping, it still came out a lot cheaper than the local Yamaha dealer could beat. All my order arrived in one piece with no damage to any parts. This was mainly due to how Webike pack the orders. Lots and lots of padding. Brilliant. The inner panel arrived in a large bubble wrap Yamaha packet and there was no damage at all. The finish was a nice textured one on the plastic, the back plastic area is sturdy and hopefully will not fail. Top quality part direct from Yamaha. Perfect. It did not take a lot of time to fit all the parts back together and then bolt this back onto the bike itself. Really pleased with how this rebuild went. Thanks Webike.
