Here are my impressions after having done it a few times since I bought it. We live in a rural area where it is 50 km over a mountain pass to the next town. We are a family and cannot afford to spend a lot of money on motorcycles, so we are looking for a product that is cost effective.
good point
The helmet I originally used was the System helmet from 10 years ago, and I was surprised at how light it was. Although the difference is only around 500 grams, the lightness of the Level helmet makes me wonder if I am wearing a helmet at all.
I don't feel that my head is being carried away even when driving (at 100km/h on the highway). I don't know if it is because of the lightness of the helmet, but it is clearly less fatiguing than the previous Helmet.
I honestly thought the One Touch Buckle on the chin looked difficult to use until I tried it, but when I actually used it, I found it very easy to use, and as the One-touch indicates, it can be easily adjusted to open and close with one hand.
The enclosed anti-fogging Seat works wonderfully and makes fogging a thing of the past.
A bad point
The sound of Wind Cutting while driving (60km/h on public road) is incredibly loud. It sounds like "BYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. On the other hand, I think it means that wind is passing through the helmet that much.
The interior pad is obviously cheap. The pad on the chinstrap is especially cheap. The other parts don't bother me once I put it on, but the pad on the chinstrap is thin and the buckle on the chinstrap sometimes hits my face if I tighten it too much.
General review
We have never used a famous manufacturer's high-end helmet like ARAI or SHOEIetc., so we cannot compare them, but we felt that this is probably the best cosmetic product in this price range.
ARAI and SHOEIetc. were only tried on in stores, but I did not feel any particular difference just from the feeling of trying them on, but rather felt this one was better due to the lightness of this product. However, I cannot deny the feeling of cheapness when I hold it in my hand.
There is a higher grade model in full carbon with a higher price, but there is a 100g difference in body weight, and I tried on both full carbon and this product in a store, and it is true that full carbon felt lighter to wear, but dry carbon (this product) is more cost effective. I felt that Dry carbon (this product) is more cost effective.
If you can choose a high-cost, high-performance product because it is a safety equipment, it would be better, but for people like us who have to enjoy the hobby on a small budget, we think this is a very nice product.
