This little beauty came in for a service and air, oil and filter change. Not really sure how long this has been needing the service but with how the filter was looking upon removal, it was long overdue. Finding the right oil filter was pretty easy if you know how. I cross referenced with Honda schematics and found the oil filter on Webike website. The price Webike had this for was actually on offer at the time so was better than I could source locally. For some reason, these are not easy to get in the UK, maybe the bikes are not that popular here. Anyway, with a couple of other small parts I had my order shipped together to save on some postage costs. EMS got my order delivered in 5 days which was great for me, I know when my orders will arrive. This was packaged really well and carefully too. The oil filter is a standard shape but is specific for this model. It fitted really easily and the quality does show when you are handling it. Very well made and no flaws that I could see. About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the material used is a paper gasket sheet that is stamped out to form its shape.About the feeling of use, One right crankcase gasket was needed for the new engine that I am building from newly purchased part from Honda. It has done its job in sealing between the right crankcase and the clutch cover. Serves the same purpose as the original gasket with no noticeable difference. Seals well with no oil leaks present.Products to buy together, To be able to complete a new engine build many newly purchased parts are required to be added to your cart but the most important to go with the right crankcase gasket is the oil filter rotor gasket as they tend to be removed at the same time to work on cleaning out the center of the oil filter rotor.Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the lright crankcase gasket for my installation was very easy due to already having access as the crankcase half is new and the process is explained in the service manual which is to be secured in a crisscross pattern to the required torque value Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of this product is great. This was a customers bike that came in for a service. Mainly, new air filter element and oil filter and oil change. Not really much goes wrong with these bikes, they really are built to last. Anyway, finding the right parts for this bike was straight forward and I used the help tools Webike provide and cross referenced with Honda schematics to make sure. The price for the element was excellent and better than could be sourced locally. I had a few other parts for other bikes in my order and got them all shipped using my favourite courier, EMS. The price for the shipping is really good and my order arrived in 5 days. The element arrived in the Honda packet and was wrapped in packaging really well. Not really much to look at but the quality is plain to see from Honda . I know this will help the bike's performance a great deal as it was running pretty poor with the state of the old element. This was a part that was needed for the Virago that came in. This was in need of a new o-ring for the oil filter that I always replace when changing the oil filter. It just makes sense. I did not know the history of this bike and with checking the old o-ring, it certainly needed a new one. I found the right o-ring by using the tools Webike provide on their help section and then cross referencing with Yamaha schematics for my own peace of mind. I did have a couple of other parts I needed to order so I just got them all at the same time. My preferred courier is EMS as they just get the orders to me fast and efficiently. In 5 days from being shipped the order arrived. Everything was well packaged and no damage at all. Even the smaller parts were packed in bubble wrap for safety. This o-ring was inside the standard Yamaha packet and was in perfect condition. The quality is brilliant. It is a nicely made o-ring and there were no extra bits of rubber attached like you get with some after market brands. I double checked the diameter and it was exactly as it should be. I wipe a little oil on the o-ring in this section as it helps to stop from pinching or breaking the new o-ring upon install. This is an off roader that I do get into the shop from time to time. This time the forks needed sorting out. Pretty much a rebuild with a few parts I could not source locally. This being one of them, the bush guide. Finding the right part for this model was pretty easy as I used the tools Webike provide and then cross referenced with Honda schematics for my own peace of mind. The guides were really good value and far better than I thought they would be. Nice surprise there. I did have some other parts for other bikes I needed to order, so I got them all shipped together using EMS as my chosen courier. In a matter of 5 days from being shipped, the order was delivered. The bush guides were well packaged and came in a bubble wrap envelope to keep them safe. They also came in the standard Honda packet so you know they are genuine. As for the quality of the guides, if I put them next to the old ones, they are worlds apart. The edges are smooth and very well machined. The specifications are exactly as expected. The final part of the protection job for the ZX-6R 2012, this last part is the starter cover. There are some pretty important parts behind the standard starter cover so this is a must to finish off the protection job. Although it is a small piece, it does an important job. Even though I have the generator cover and the clutch cover, I had to get this one too to make the bike look complete. I cross referenced the part numbers with GBRacing website to make sure I had the right one for the ZX-6R. The cost that Webike sell for is really good and around the same as I could source locally. I could not tell you for sure what exactly the composite of these covers is but they have fibre and plastic from what I have read.GBRacing have made a composite of the materials to be durable, long lasting and take a good beating if they need to and yet, still protect the bike. They also look really cool. When I got the packages, the pulse cover looks amazing. The finish is a smooth satin black with some great detail in the logo and lettering looks really cool, especially with the BSB logo on too. Install took around an hour for all 3 covers so not a hard job and anyone can do it. Just remove the bolts stated in the instructions and replace with the ones proveided in the packet. Super simple. End result is awesome. Very pleased with how it all looks and now I do not have to worry about damaging anything. Thank you Webike, great help. View Detail

This is the second cover for the ZX-6R 2012, the clutch cover specifically. Yet another large cover for a large casing. This is the second cover I have purchased for the ZX-6R. I know GBRacing is a top quality brand as I have used their products many times before. These covers are excellent and add a massive amount of protection to the bike. If you care for your bike, get these.Finding the correct cover was really easy as Webike do list all the models these kits fit. I also cross checked this with GBRacing website just to make sure.These covers along with all their others are made with a composite of fibre and plastic, I am unsure of exactly what they are but they are extremely durable and do what they say they do. You could probably get other brands for better prices but why risk your bike for the sake of a few pouunds when having to buy a new clutch casing is going to be a heck of a lot more. The price from Webike was really competitive and I know they deliver the orders in super quick time anyway. Easy choice to make.The covers all arrived in perfect condition. Packed really well and no damage to anything. This cover is a large piece and needs to be 100% perfect which it is. The finish is smooth and clean and a nice sheen sating black with great silver logo and lettering inclusing the BSB logo. Goes really well with the bike already. Fitting was really easy and it is just remove the old bolts specified in the instructions and replace eith the provided ones in the packet. They are slightly longer bolts as they have to accommodate the cover thickness too. Took around an hour to fit the 3 covers I purchased for the ZX-6R.Now there is no need to worry about damaging the clutch casing now with this cover installed.
