Is perfectly sized for engine breathing applications when connecting to the factory barbed hose fitting
About quality and texture - The 8mm breather hose from SP Takegawa is made from a soft rubber material with reinforced strands featuring a clear finish and the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The 8mm breather hose is perfectly sized for engine breathing applications when connecting to the factory barbed hose fitting and the majority of other breather system barbed hose fittings, like on my Honda Monkey 125 but is only to be used with air systems and not oil or fuel. Products to buy together - The 8mm breather hose does require to be firmly secured to the hose fitting, the use of zip ties is not my preferred method as a permanent solution so the use of specifically sized 13mm hose clamps from SP Takegawa is what I would recommend. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the 8mm breather hose is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of a measuring device, cutting tool and sandpaper to neatly finish the hose ends off is how I like to carry out the task for my breather hose fitment. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the 8mm breather hose is no different. A reasonable quantity of 1m with no lapse in quality. About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the 12mm breather hose, I chose EMS for a earlier arrival date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, purchasing common use products like this from Webike Japan is the best option even when taking into account the shipping cost, as I find local stores tend not to stock products I can use on my Monkey 125 or they are priced higher the majority of the time.
The price is somewhat high, but the quality is excellent. It's a translucent product, so it's good to be able to check internal contamination.View Detail
About quality and texture - When new the quality is excellent and I really like the clear finish as it fits in well with the polished oil catch tank.About the feeling of use - Now after 18 months of use I am disappointed as the clear sections of hose are starting to turn yellow in partsProducts to buy together - If you have the money I would recommend getting a hose cutter, Neofactory have a nice looking one here, product # 016482.Difficulty of installation - Easy to install the hose but I find cutting the hose very difficult to achive a nice finish as I do not own a hose cutter, a stanley knife does a poor job.Cost performance and comparison with other products - Takegawa price this hose a little more then other clear hose available on Webike and I was hoping they would not yellow like the others but that is not the case.About shipping and packaging - Combined sea freight order was priced well and arrived in 8 weeks to Australia. No damage to any of the products due to the excellent packaging.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - If you have any concerns about the clear hose yellowing just buy black breather hose like I will have to in the future as my hoses continue to get worse.View Detail
I used mostly this eight millimeter internal diameter clear breather hose made by Specials Parts Takegawa for my oil catch tank installation on my Honda Monkey 125. A tip to get nice clean straight cuts after measuring the lengths of hose required is to line up the supplied hose clamps where you would like to cut then use a razor blade to cut down the edge of the hose clamp. I have had this hose in use on my motorcycle for around 2000 kilometers now and the clear oil resistant hose has no yellowing so far which I am very happy with. Good price and comes with two hose clamps but you will most likely need to purchase a few more which can also be found on Webike.View Detail
This clear black breather hose kit blends in nicely with the chrome and black colour scheme of my bike. Good quality hose clamps that polish up to a show shine are included and look nice too. I purchased 1m length and it was enough to replace all the oil hoses on the oil catch tank I have fitted. I would recommend this product to anyone.View Detail
Hose I used for Breather pipe has been replaced since the year has come.. I also like the color subtly Smoke very much This is enough because you can not buy Stainless Mesh HoseView Detail

About quality and texture - The 12mm breather hose from SP Takegawa is made from a soft rubber material with reinforced strands featuring a clear finish and the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The 12mm breather hose is a huge size for engine breathing applications but perfect when you are using the oil filler breather cap on your clutch cover and the large barbed hose fitting on your oil catch tank or air filter pod, which I have both of on my Honda Monkey 125 but is only to be used with air systems and not oil or fuel.Products to buy together - The 12mm breather hose does require to be firmly secured to the hose fitting, the use of zip ties is not my preferred method as a permanent solution so the use of specifically sized 15.5mm hose clamps from SP Takegawa is what I would recommend.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the 12mm breather hose is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of a measuring device, cutting tool and sandpaper to neatly finish the hose ends off is how I like to carry out the task for my breather hose fitment.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the 12mm breather hose is no different. I bought it because there was no clear hose option. It's a little expensive, but I'm glad there's a right size!.When I received it, the part where the hose was bent was damaged, so I cut it off and use it.View Detail

Your are going to want this larger 12 millimeter inner diameter clear breather hose connected to your oil cap breather. The clear hose is handy for you to monitor and see of you have excessive moisture or oil coming out of your engine. The clear hose with the reinforced braide and Special Parts Takegawa branding also gives your motorcycle, in my case my 125cc a high performance look which is funny. The flexiblity when installing is good and as the hose becomes hot during engine operations it contours to its location. Very happy with the quality and pricing per meter.View Detail
About quality and texture - The rear rack from Honda is made from pieces of flat bar and steel tube with precision bents that are TIG welded together and plated with a chrome surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - I feel having a factory Honda rear rack on the Monkey 125 is the best choice for aesthetics but when it comes to practicality this is not the case due to it's small cargo bed dimensions but really it'd all about the look for me.Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the rear rack for me was a fender eliminator as I wanted to add as much of the original Monkey Z50 styling back to the Monkey 125 and that started with removing unwanted black plastic parts.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the rear rack is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to secure the rear rack to the frame.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and their rear rack is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being a no significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the rear rack, I chose sea EMS for an earlier arrival date as I was in no particular rush to install the product. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, when purchasing a special factory Honda product like this, it is best to do so from Webike Japan. There are a few local stores selling parts for the Monkey 125 but the product is not available.View Detail
About quality and texture - The clutch outer from Honda is made from aluminium casting and steel machining that are secured together, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - I was having issues easily finding neutral and replacing this part solved the problem. The cause was the grooves that wear into the aluminium between the fingers where the clutch disks lay.Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the clutch outer for me was new clutch disks, there are many options available but I thought the reinforced 6 clutch disk kit Kitaco sell was ideal for my engine setup and it has also replaced other worn aluminium parts in the clutch mechanism.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the clutch outer is a advanced task that took 1.5 hours to complete. Mechanical aptitude, the use of special tools and the knowledge of disassembling the engine is required to secure the clutch outer to the transmission main shaft.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for but this is not the case with the clutch outer as the pricing seems excessive.About shipping and packaging - With there being a significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the clutch outer, I chose sea freight to save some money as the part was not required immediately. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. From service parts to performance products and even motorcycle gear and apparel, Webike always seem to satisfy my needs in regards to availability and pricing.View Detail
About quality and texture - The left cylinder head cover from Honda is made from cast aluminium and a black painted surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The finned design of the left cylinder head cover from the Grom is preferred over the flat design of the left cylinder head cover from the Monkey 125 and the colour change gives the engine some character.Products to buy together - More black parts from the Grom engine like the timing cover and crank cover for the left side of the engine and the clutch cover protector for the right side of the engine would be key products to buy together with the left cylinder head cover to balance the colour change.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the left cylinder head cover is a simple task that took 0.1 of an hour to complete. Common sense and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to secure the cover to the cylinder head after transferring over the O-ring. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the left cylinder head cover is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the left cylinder head cover, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date. About quality and texture - The exhaust system gasket from Honda is made from a high temperature metal graphite, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - No noticeable exhaust leak from the old gasket but since the exhaust system had been installed and removed a few times I thought it best to replace the gasket this time around.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase when carrying out general maintenance on the engine is a new gasket for the clutch cover as this cover is removed quite regularly for access to clean the oil spinner and filter screen.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the exhaust system gasket is an simple task that took 0.1 of an hour to complete. Common sense is all that is required to secure the gasket into the exhaust port in the cylinder head.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the exhaust system gasket is no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the exhaust system gasket, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. About quality and texture - The cam chain guide roller from Honda is made from a hard rubber bonded onto a steel center, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The cam chain guide roller is a solid little part that constantly cops a beating from the cam chain and it's tension. It's worth your while having an inspection every now and then and keeping an eye out for pieces of rubber in the filter.Products to buy together - Parts within the cam chain tensioner system suffer significant wear with engine upgrades that allow for much higher RPM riding and a key product to buy together with the cam chain guide roller is the cam chain tensioner push rod head.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the cam chain guide roller is an advanced task that took 1 hour to complete due to the disassembly of the engine required to access the area in which the guide roller is installed. Mechanical aptitude and the use of a special tool and basic hand tools is what is required to secure the guide roller to the engine case.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the cam chain guide roller is no differentAbout shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the cam chain guide roller, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date.
